PCFF’s activities to promote peace and reconciliation have earned great respect and special accolades over the years

The Parents Circle – Families Forum (PCFF) activities to promote peace and reconciliation have earned great respect and special accolades over the years around the world.
We are very thankful for all the prizes awarded to the PCFF. We are committed to tirelessly continue with our activities.

The Shalom Award, 2023
In those dark days, we have been chosen by Pax Christi International as the recipient of the 2023 Pax Christi International Peace Award. The award ceremony will be held in the Holy Land, as soon as the conditions allow, in 2024.

The Shalom Award, 2016
The ceremony was held at Eichstadt, Germany.
Was accepted on behalf of the PCFF by: Robi Damelin and Mazen Faraj.

The Leibowitz Award, 2016
The ceremony was held at ‘Tzavta Theatre’, Tel-Aviv Jaffa, Israel. The award was granted through the “YeshGvul” movement.

Robi Damelin was chosen as one of the 50 women who have made the biggest impact in the world, 2015
Chosen by the New York Times and Women in the World.

The Dror Prize, in memory of Dror Sternschuss, 2014
The ceremony was held in Tel-Aviv Jaffa, Israel. The award honored the PCFF for its “It Won’t Stop Until We Talk” campaign, which included the “We Don’t Want You Here” video and the “PCFF Peace Square”.

The “Unsung Heroes of Compassion” Award, 2014
The ceremony was held in San Francisco, California, in the presence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
Received by: Nir Oren and Mazen Faraj.

Politiken Freedom Prize, 2013
Denmark. Received by: Rami Elhanan and Bassam Aramin.
Bassam Aramin and Rami Elhanan shared the award with two organizations: Combatants for Peace and the PCFF.

The “Crack in the Wall” project was given an Honorable mention at the Inter-Cultural Innovation Award, 2013
UNITED NATIONS ALLIANCE OF CIVILIZATIONS (UNAOC) AND BMW GROUP, Vienna, Austria.

CDU, Gold Medal for contributing to reconciliation and understanding between people, 2010
The Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU), the Berlin French Cathedral, Berlin, Germany.
The prize was granted to Roni Hirshenson and Nasra Shihab.

The Three Cultures award for Peace and Dialogue, 2009
The Three Cultures Foundation of the Mediterranean Sea, Seville, Spain. Received on behalf of the PCFF by: Mazen Faraj and Robi Damelin.

The PCFF was nominated for the Prince of Asturias Concord Award, 2009 
The most prestigious award in the Spanish speaking world. The nomination was jointly submitted by the Arab House and the Sefarad-Israel House.

The Martha Prize for Tolerance and Democratic Values in Jerusalem, 2008
The Jerusalem Foundation. Received on behalf of the PCFF by: Khaled Abu Awad and Nir Oren.

The IIE and Victor Goldberg, the American Center in Jerusalem, Israel.
The award was given to members of the PCFF, Lili Jaffe and Aziz Abu Sarah.
